Huron County Community Foundation is proud to support local high school students seeking to further their education. We manage scholarship funds for several local school districts throughout Huron County. Check with your local school district to see what scholarship opportunities exist and how to apply.
Payne, Nickles & Co Todd Spore, CPA Memorial Scholarship
The Payne, Nickles & Co Todd Spore, CPA Memorial Scholarship offers $2,000 each for up to two hardworking accounting students working toward their 150-hour CPA exam requirement. Applicant must be a resident OR high school graduate of Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, Lorain, Seneca, Crawford, Richland or Ashland, Ohio counties with a minimum 2.8 GPA. The Payne, Nickles & Co Todd Spore, CPA Memorial Scholarship is awarded based on merit, financial need, and community involvement.
Olive H. Schlink Nursing Scholarship
Supports students working at the undergraduate or graduate level, or in a vocational or apprenticeship program in the continental United States in the field of nursing. Applicants must be a high school graduate of Huron County, Ohio with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Scholarship is awarded based on excellent academic achievement and financial need. Scholarship may be renewed for up to three additional years, but the renewal is not automatic; students must reapply.
