Karen Waag Sharpnack

Karen Waag Sharpnack retired from PNC Bank as Senior Vice President in their Corporate & Institutional Banking division. She started at the bank in its manager training program in 1981, after graduating from Bowling Green State University. She moved through the branch banking system while earning her master’s in marketing from Cleveland State University. Sharpnack enjoyed her career at PNC Bank because it gave her the opportunity to explore different areas of the bank, including Small Business Banking, Dealer Finance, as well as Corporate & Institutional Banking division.

Sharpnack enjoys playing golf and most recently has added pickleball. In the warmer months, she enjoys participating in 5k races, running outside, and swimming. She loves reading and cooking and challenging her husband to ping pong matches!

Sharpnack and her husband Tom have two sons and enjoy their two grandchildren, Theo and Miriam.
