Bill Kalfs

Retired Trucker Abstract Title Company

Bill Kalfs retired in 2017 after owning and managing Tucker Escrow & Title Company in Norwalk for 20 years. Kalfs also spent time in his career as an underwriter and claims attorney in Columbus regional office of major national real estate title insurance company, and an associate attorney at law firm in Newark, OH completing oil and gas lease examinations, working with closely held businesses, administering probate estates, and addressing tax issues.


Kalf’s legal career began as legal assistant in Coumbus office of national commercial and residential real estate developer, after serving as a law clerk for Franklin County Probate Judge while attending law school.


Kalfs earned his BS from The Ohio State University, Columbus, and his JD from Capital University Law School in Columbus.


Kalfs maintains memberships in several professional and charitable organizations, including the Ohio State Bar Association; Franklin County Bar Association; Huron County Bar Association; 20-year Board Member of Firelands Federal Credit Union; 20-year member Norwalk City Planning Committee; member St. Peter Lutheran Church endowment committee; and board member Huron County Community Foundation.


Kalfs and his wife Nancy live in Norwalk and have an adult daughter and two grandsons near Atlanta.
